   We are having a Pasta Dinner and Raffle Benefit for Alyssa (Aly) Field on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the VFW located in Jewett City, Connecticut. Aly has been chosen to represent our community, the great state of Connecticut and the USA in an International Cross Country Race in Sydney, Australia on July 1, 2012. At the benefit, we have a few items to raffle including tickets to an upcoming show at Foxwoods Resort Casino and a family pack of CT Renaissance Faire tickets. Block Island Express has also generously donated a pair of round trip tickets to our benefit. We are putting together an “I ♥ Block Island” gift basket and would love to include a gift certificate to Poor People’s Pub. Would you be kind enough to donate to our benefit?
